Wireless Network Configuration
Go here for automated configuration of your laptop. Instructions for your particular operating system and device are also available.
Additionally, Law Technology Services can assist you in configuring your device for the wireless network. Should you have any questions or issues connecting to the wireless network, please see the staff in the Gold Star computer lab, Room 186.
After Hours Printing
Printing is available from your laptop to the public printers in Gold Star and Sarkeys. The public printers will be available any time the building is open, unlike the computer lab printers, which close nightly. In Gold Star, there is a public printer outside of the main computer lab and one by the circulation desk. In Sarkeys, the public printer is downstairs adjacent to the restrooms.
A print job sent to these printers will be available at all three of the public printers. You may retrieve your print job at whichever printer you wish. The pages will not print until you swipe your Student ID card.
To configure your laptop to print after hours, please follow the directions here or come to the computer lab office in Gold Star.
Computer Labs
Three computer labs are available for the exclusive use of the School of Law: two labs are located in the Gold Star Memorial Building (law library), rooms 186 and 197, and one lab is located in the Sarkeys Law Center. The labs are open when the law buildings open; however, the labs close approximately fifteen minutes before the law buildings close. A variety of word and data processing programs as well as legal educational resources are loaded on the computers for student use.
Lab #1 is our largest lab and is located at the far northwest corner of the first floor of the Gold Star Memorial Building (Law Library). Â This is also where you will find the Lab Monitors and IT Specialist, should you have any questions.
Lab #2 is our training lab and is located at the far north end of the first floor of the Gold Star Law Memorial Building (Law Library). This is most likely where you will receive your Lexis Nexis and Westlaw training.
Lab #3 is adjacent to the student lounge in the Sarkeys Law Center.
